Georgia Foley

Georgia has trained across all styles since a young age, starting with Jazz (AJDA), shortly before moving into other dance styles including Contemporary, Ballet, Lyrical and Ballroom. She went on to study at Unitec, graduating in 2020 with a Bachelor of Performing and Screen Arts majoring in Contemporary Dance. Through these years she has learnt how to become a versatile artist and think creatively about movement.

During her studies, Georgia was privileged to work with many of New Zealand's most renowned contemporary choreographers and movement artists. Georgia continues her professional development through all areas of dance, attending workshops, classes and collaborating with other artists to extend and further develop her knowledge. Although contemporary is home, Georgia still competes in Ballroom, Latin and New Vogue.

Georgia is excited to be apart of the Step Beyond team and to help the community grow. She is an artist who has a strong passion for individuality and creativeness. Georgia looks forward to creating and sharing with her students. She endeavours to pass on her knowledge and love of dance to the future generations through her classes and movement sessions. Georgia is passionate about inspiring her students to be brave, be bold and stand behind their personal voice.
